The “Market of Opportunities” in Rheinberg is a public participation event as part of municipal heating planning. The event took place on May 15, 2025 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Rheinberg town hall and offered all interested parties the opportunity to inform themselves and exchange ideas on the topics of the heating transition and municipal heating planning.

At this event, Tobias Ader and Dennis Schneider presented the economic efficiency calculator developed in KliWinBa and the heat network planning tool developed in the QUARREE100 project.

Interested members of the public were able to try out both tools and ask the developers questions. There was positive feedback for both tools, with the profitability calculator being of great interest from the public's perspective.
